Mario Robau West Coast Swing Workshops & Mini-Intensive

 

Friday, April 13th

7pm - "Dressing Up Your WCS Basics" (beginner level) - learn how to "dress up" your basic patterns

8pm - "Styling 101 for WCS" (beginner + level) - learn the dos and don'ts of adding styling to your WCS

9pm - WCS Dance

 

Saturday, April 14th

10am-12pm - Mini-Intensive (WCS) - separate pricing - Intermediate/Advanced Level - Matching your movement & patterns to the different type of music we dance to. We dance to Blues, R&B, Soul, Contemporary to name a few. As we become better dancers, our movement & pattern-choices should match the music that we are dancing to. A person should be able to watch you dance and without hearing what you are dancing to, be able to pick out the type of music.

2:00pm-3:00pm - WCS Syncopations workshop (must be very comfortable with basic footwork)

3:15pm-4:15pm - WCS Musicality workshop (for all levels of dancers)

4:30pm-5:30pm - WCS Patterns & Styling workshop (must be very comfortable with basic patterns)

[dinner break]

8:00pm-9:00pm - "Styling Up your WCS" - a move advanced styling workshop than Friday night's class

9pm - WCS Dance

Workshop/Dance package (excluding Mini-Intensive):
$75 pre-reg price before April 1st
$100 on or after April 1st

Mini-Intensive registration (Sat. 10am-12pm):
$25 pre-reg price before April 1st
$30 on or after April 1st

Per workshop:
$15 pre-reg
$20 on or after April 1st

Dance admission:
$10 per person

*International dancers - you may pay the pre-reg pricing at the door in U.S. currency. International mail and our U.S. banks make it difficult to receive and process international currency. By paying at the door in U.S. currency it makes it easier on all of us :-)
